Personal care is one of the most important and most personal forms of disability support a participant receives. At Velocity Support Services, we deliver NDIS-funded Daily Personal Activities assistance to participants across Ipswich, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Logan, and Toowoomba with a focus on dignity, consistency, and respect for individual preferences.
Our support workers help with the physical tasks of daily life while preserving your sense of control. You decide how your morning starts, what level of assistance you need, and who provides it. We follow your lead, not the other way around.
Personal Care Services We Provide
Velocity’s personal care support covers the everyday activities that keep you comfortable, healthy, and ready for the day ahead.
We assist with:

How Velocity Delivers Personal Care Differently
Your Routine Comes First
We do not impose a schedule on you. If you prefer a shower at 7 PM instead of 7 AM, your plan reflects that. Personal care should fit your life, not reshape it.
Skilled, Screened, and Supervised Workers
Every personal care worker is NDIS worker screened, trained in manual handling and infection control, and supervised by Velocity’s clinical nursing team for participants with complex needs.
Consistency You Can Count On
We know how uncomfortable it is to have a stranger help with intimate personal tasks. That is why we assign a primary support worker and keep roster changes to a minimum.
Clinical Escalation When You Need It
If a support worker notices a skin concern, a change in mobility, or a medication issue, they can escalate directly to our registered nurses without waiting for an external referral.

How soon can personal care services begin?
Most participants are onboarded and receiving personal care within a few business days. Hospital discharge referrals and urgent situations are fast-tracked.
Do you follow NDIS Price Guide rates for personal care?
Yes. All personal care services are charged within the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. Your service agreement will detail all costs before support begins.
Will I have the same support worker for personal care?
We assign a primary worker and maintain consistent rostering. Personal care is intimate support, and we treat continuity as a priority rather than a bonus.
