Who is Transitional Housing designed for?
It is ideal for participants leaving hospital, departing a rehabilitation centre, or moving out of the family home who need temporary support before living independently.
How is this different from Medium Term Accommodation?
While similar in duration, Transitional Housing places a much stronger focus on intensive skill-building and capacity development to ensure you are ready for eventual independent living.
Can Velocity manage complex mental health transitions?
Yes, our clinical nurse managers specialise in psychosocial recovery and providing complex mental health support during challenging life transitions.
Will you help me find a permanent home?
We work closely with your support coordinator and broader support network to identify, secure, and safely transition you into suitable, long-term accommodation.
