Common questions.
What is included in Short Term Accommodation?
STA funding typically covers your accommodation and the support you need during your stay, such as personal care and help with everyday activities. The NDIS does not fund food and meals or the cost of the activities themselves, so we will talk you through any out-of-pocket costs before your stay.
How long is a typical STA stay?
STA is usually funded for up to 14 days at a time. However, stays are highly flexible and can be customised from a single weekend up to a couple of weeks.
Can I choose the activities I do during respite?
Absolutely. We co-design your itinerary with you to ensure you participate in hobbies, outings, and activities that you genuinely enjoy.
Is clinical nursing support available during my stay?
Yes, our clinical team oversees all medical needs, ensuring participants with complex care requirements are safely and fully supported away from home.
