Community Nursing Services

Community Nursing Services

Not every clinical need requires a hospital bed or outpatient visit. Velocity Support Services provides community nursing across Ipswich, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Logan, and Toowoomba, bringing registered and enrolled nurses directly to homes, SIL residences, and community settings where participants live and receive support.

Our nursing team handles a wide scope of clinical interventions, from routine medication support to complex wound management, PEG feeding, and PICC line care. For NDIS participants with high-intensity support needs, community nursing ensures clinical oversight is built into their daily support rather than bolted on as a separate service.

Why Our Community Nursing Model Works

Embedded Within Your Support Team

Our nurses work alongside your support workers, not in isolation. That means clinical concerns are identified and addressed within the same care team without referral delays.

AHPRA-Registered and Experienced

Every nurse on our team holds current AHPRA registration and brings hands-on experience in disability, aged care, mental health, and complex clinical management.

Available for NDIS, Aged Care, and Private Clients

Community nursing is available under NDIS High Intensity Daily Personal Activities funding, Home Care Packages, DVA, or private arrangements. We help you determine the right funding pathway.

Reduces Hospital Presentations

By managing clinical needs proactively in the community, our nurses help prevent avoidable emergency presentations and hospital admissions.
